Your role as a Financial Analyst will be:
You provide financial support and/or analysis in budgeting, planning, business processes, or reporting to a portion of a functional organization or to more senior finance staff. You will perform economic research and studies and financial modeling to help future business planning decisions, and create reports and summaries as required by Corporate procedure or compliance regulations. You will interface with cross-functional peers and managers and have an opportunity to contribute across various business challenges.
The Financial Analysts' role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks, including: - Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making; - Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes; - Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts; - Work with cross-functional groups to provide technical support to business units including: - Forecasting - Budgeting - Variance analysis - Cost analysis - Product pricing - Financial/Tax reporting - Regulatory/compliance analysis and reporting - May focus on an area of specialization. - Integrate financial processes and operations of the business.
Requirements for the position of Financial Analyst:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in one of the big audit firms; - A very good level in accounting and financial control is required; - US Gaap required, plus understanding of multiple local European accounting regulations that could applyto a pan-European sales program; - Good written and verbal communication skills in English; - French is an prerequisite; - Good interpersonal communication; - Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams; - Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities; - Ability to work in a project based environment; - Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
